Sustainable growth

IBH Export stands for sustainable growth and this is reflected all throughout our company. Many of our members of staff have been with us for years on account of the pleasant work environment, good employment conditions and training opportunities that we provide. And we also build long-term relationships with customers, thanks to our personal touch and scope for customisation. We consciously make sustainable choices in respect of our range too, by choosing our partners carefully and keeping a lot of activities in-house, for example. This enables us to guarantee consistent quality at surprisingly competitive prices.

We also stand for sustainability for the world. From our branch in Kenya, we import directly from Kenyan rose-growers and we closely monitor quality and working conditions. We also have various sustainability approval marks and certificates:

• Fairtrade
• GLOBAL G.A.P. Chain of Custody Standard (CoC)
• Florimark GTP (Good Trade Practice)

SBTi – Approved

IBH Export has been officially approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
This means that our CO₂ reduction targets are proven to be achievable and are aligned with the Paris Climate Agreement.

“We commit to reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2024 base year, and to measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions.”

We measure and report our CO₂ footprint annually and take concrete actions to reduce emissions across our supply chain, business operations, transport, and energy use.
