IBH Export has been officially approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

We are proud of this achievement! This recognition means that our climate targets have been assessed as scientifically grounded, achievable and aligned with the Paris Climate Agreement.

“Plant Direct Holding B.V. commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2024 base year, and to measure and reduce its scope 3 emissions.”

Why is this important?

The world is changing, and companies play a key role in the transition to a climate-neutral future.

With our SBTi-approved targets, we demonstrate that:

  • we aim to be transparent about our impact
  • we are taking steps towards cleaner energy
  • we work to make our supply chain more sustainable
  • we make responsible choices in transport, facilities, purchasing and production

How are we approaching this?

We measure our full CO₂ footprint every year. Based on these insights, we take concrete measures, including:

  • optimisation of energy use in our halls
  • improving logistic efficiency
  • optimising waste streams

What does this mean for our partners?

Our sustainable strategy delivers:

  • better insight into product-level footprint
  • responsible and future-proof business practices
  • stronger supply-chain collaboration towards sustainable solutions

Together with customers, suppliers and partners, we build sustainable growth.

SBTi approval is a milestone — but above all, a starting point. We will continue to invest, measure, improve and report. Together we work towards a sector that is ready for the future.
